Pure mix of style and rock'n'roll

Each detail makes this one model unique so it just pretty fast reached the top of my sunglasses collection and I literally forget to look for the others I have in my wardrobe.

Perfect sunglasses

Couldn’t be happier with the look and feel of these! There’s a reason they’re sold out.

“For better hallway vision”

Love these shades. Heavy and great details. Right amount of tint for my liking. Smidge wider or spring hinges for my skull size would be a five star review. Cannot appreciate the coolness till in your hands!

Get yourself a pair of Getaway X

For the past months, I had been checking Clocks + Colours, basically on a daily basis, just to look at these sunglasses. And especially on gloomy days, I'd check in to lift up my spirits, and daydream somehow.
That's how beautiful they are.
If you're here reading this, you're probably past the website's window and have already seen how impeccable and perfectly structured the Getaways are. You must also be wondering if you should get them.

I know, because I've been there too.

I've had a penchant for sunglasses forever, and these look spectacular, from any angle. I really admire the detailing of the nautical star, the monogram, and especially the frame tips, and the thing is, I still do. The frame appears to be made from fine material, looks very classic on the front, with clever patterns of stainless steel on the side frames - a perfect blend of nostalgia and modernism.
You could argue that they look heavier than the average pair of spectacles and could be uncomfortable, but the heavy metal on the tips provide the absolute poise that makes them lightweight. Clever idea.
I never ever could find a fault in these, even when I looked for the cons to dissuade myself.
I have a small face and the thick frame caused doubts about the Getaway's fit on me, which was the only indecisive factor. I contacted a featured C+C customer on Instagram to ask how the glasses felt in real life, and if they would fit, say, someone with more delicate features. I got a positive response and the assurance that it would fit anyone. This also means you, reading this, wondering if you can buy expensive sunglasses without trying them first. I've been there, am wiser now, and I got you, my friend: It's safe to get them because they're perfect.
During my investigations, I compared them to my favourite pairs of sunglasses, eagerly cross-checking measurements, only to find out that they are exquisitely designed and structured; on paper, a better fit than any of the actual pairs I owned.
I got to admit the chills I felt when I removed the Getaways from the (just a tad bulky but stylish) case which protects them from any form of infamy that could happen during shipping. They look even better in real, and, I guess the enthusiasm doesn't wear off. I am passionate about them (you noticed, right?) and confess to unwillingly removing them (in church, or when talking to someone, for example) when I have to.

I was looking forward to reviewing this product, to be honest.

I just love my new sunglasses, and that love is meant to last.
