KennyHoopla x Clocks + Colours: Orphan

Some pieces start as an idea, this one started as a lived reality. Before we even met KennyHoopla, he was already wearing one of our wallet chains into the ground: on stage, on the road, in the chaos between soundcheck and sunrise. When we finally connected, everything clicked. Same honesty. Same instinct to experiment. Same need to treat art like a pulse instead of a product.

Orphan is the result of that spark — a new chapter built from stainless steel, sweat, noise, and the stories that keep a person standing.

Built From the Inside Out

When we asked Kenny what this meant to him, he didn’t try to dress it up:

“It’s really special to be able to collaborate and for someone to see something in me enough to put this much time, detail, and money into something. This is cool. This means a lot. This is definitely gonna be a cornerstone—center stone, whatever they say—of my life. Hopefully, if things go right and I'm in the Rock Hall of Fame, this is sitting right there next to a messed-up pair of shoes.”

That’s the core of Orphan: not spectacle, not hype — sincerity. A chain built from the same raw impulse that makes him climb speakers, scream into the mic, and write lyrics that feel like they were torn straight from the nerves.

For over a year, we worked alongside Kenny to carve out something that felt true to him. Not a souvenir. Not a piece of merch. Something he could actually live in — on the road, on stage, and everywhere in between.

The process wasn’t rushed. It couldn’t be. Every detail had to mean something.

The Three Talismans

Like every Clocks + Colours piece, Orphan needed a spine, symbols rooted in the real moments that shape someone. Kenny carried these three ideas with him, so we materialised them in steel.

The Guitar Pick: For the noise. For the late-night writing sessions. For every riff that never made it to the record.

The Feather: For faith — not the quiet kind, but the kind that keeps you steady when you’re running on no sleep and cheap diner coffee.

The Wolf Tooth: For chaos: the whirlwind he grew through, the instinct he trusts, and the wildness that keeps him unpredictable in all the best ways.

Tour-tested. Stage-dive certified. Built to outlast whatever the hell comes next.

Final inspection before the chain hit the road

Every link was tested, pulled, and pushed to make sure it could survive the same conditions Kenny thrives in. Sweat. Movement. Noise. Uncertainty. The full storm.

A Story Told in Metal

At Clocks and Colours, we’re drawn to people who create from somewhere real. People who evolve in public. People who use art as a way to speak when words aren’t enough.

Working with Kenny happened naturally, no forcing it, no corporate handshake energy. Just mutual respect and a shared instinct to build something honest.

Orphan isn’t just a wallet chain. It’s a memento of the world he came from and the one he’s crashing into next. A piece of armor, a piece of history, and a piece of the journey he’s writing in real time.
