Before diving into the nitty-gritty details, let's start by understanding the basics of ring sizing. We'll explore the significance of finding the right fit and how various factors, such as climate and finger shape, can influence the sizing process.

A well-fitting ring not only enhances your overall look but also ensures a comfortable wearing experience. It allows you to confidently showcase your style without worrying about the ring slipping off or feeling too tight.

Climate plays a role in ring sizing, as fingers can expand or shrink depending on temperature and humidity. Cold weather can make your fingers smaller, while warmer temperatures can make them slightly larger. Additionally, factors like humidity and time of day can also impact the fit of your ring.

The shape of your finger can influence your ring size as well. Some individuals have slender fingers, while others may have wider or more prominent knuckles. It's important to consider the overall shape of your finger when determining the right ring size to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.

Keep in mind that certain ring styles may require special sizing considerations. For example, wide-band rings typically feel tighter than thin bands of the same size. If you're considering a wide band, it's generally recommended to go up a half or full size for a more comfortable fit.

While it's important to strive for an accurate initial measurement, it's worth noting that many rings can be resized if needed. However, it's best to consult with a professional jeweler to determine the feasibility and limitations of resizing options for your specific ring, considering factors such as design intricacy and the type of material used.

By understanding the significance of finding the right fit and considering factors like climate and finger shape, you can make well-informed decisions when it comes to ring sizing. Remember, a properly sized ring not only adds elegance to your ensemble but also ensures a comfortable and enjoyable wearing experience.

In this section, we'll walk you through the step-by-step process of determining your ring size. We'll cover both at-home methods and professional sizing options, providing you with the knowledge to accurately measure your finger size. From using a ring sizing chart to employing a printable ring sizer, we'll equip you with the tools needed to make an informed decision.

Check below, we provided a printable ring sizer that you can easily access. This tool allows you to measure your finger size conveniently at home. Simply download and print the ring sizer, follow the instructions provided, and you'll be able to determine your ring size with confidence. But if you don’t have access to a printer, we also have instructions on how to use a blank sheet of paper!

How do I measure my ring size? I have a printer.

  1. Print our ring sizer PDF (here) on standard 8.5" x 11" paper at 100% scale (ensure scaling is turned off).
  2. Measure the grey section, it should be 3.5 inches from end to end.
  3. If you have a ring that fits you well (or a ring you know fits the person you are gifting to) - place the ring on top of each sizing circle until you find the match. The matching circle should fit perfectly inside the ring.
  4. Alternatively - cut out the sizing tool (the top section that looks like a ruler), and wrap the piece of paper around your desired finger. The number that aligns closest with the 'Read Size Here' line will be your size.
  5. If you are in between sizes it's best to go up rather than down.

How do I measure my ring size? I don't have a printer.

  1. Cut a thin strip of paper 10-12cm long.
  2. Wrap the strip of paper tightly around your desired finger.
  3. Using a pen or pencil, mark the point where the paper overlaps itself.
  4. Lay the strip of paper on a flat surface and use a ruler to measure the distance from the end of the strip to the marking you made in millimetres. This will give you the circumference of your finger.
  5. Using the below chart, convert your measurement into standard US sizing.
  6. If you are in between sizes, it's always best to round up rather than down.

We also offer a comprehensive ring sizing chart that correlates specific measurements to ring sizes. To use the chart below, you can measure the inner diameter of a ring you already own, or you can measure the circumference of your finger using a flexible measuring tape or a strip of paper. Once you have your measurement, refer to our ring sizing chart to find the corresponding ring size.

FAQ

How do I determine my ring size at home?

We provide a proper ring sizer with your purchase and a printable ring sizer on our website, which allows you to measure your finger size accurately. Simply follow the instructions provided, and you'll have your ring size in no time.

Can I use a string or paper strip to measure my ring size?

While using a string or paper strip can give you a rough estimate of your ring size, it's not the most accurate method. We recommend using a proper ring sizer or visiting a professional jeweler for precise measurements.

What if I fall between two ring sizes?

If you find yourself between two ring sizes, we suggest opting for the larger size. It's easier to resize a ring down if needed, rather than increasing its size.

Are ring sizes the same internationally?

Ring sizes can vary across different countries. It's important to familiarize yourself with the local sizing standards when purchasing rings from international retailers. Our website provides a conversion chart to help you find the right size.

Can I resize a ring after purchasing it?

Yes, many rings can be resized after purchase. However, certain designs and materials may limit the resizing options. It's best to consult with a professional jeweler to determine if resizing is possible for your specific ring.

Does the width of the ring affect sizing?

Yes, wider rings tend to fit more snugly than narrower ones. If you're choosing a wide band, we recommend going up a half or full size for a comfortable fit.

Can I measure my ring size using an existing ring?

If you have a ring that fits you well, you can measure its diameter or circumference to determine your size. Our website offers a ring size conversion chart to help you find the corresponding size.

How does temperature affect ring size?

Temperature can cause your fingers to expand or shrink slightly. It's advisable to measure your ring size in a moderate room temperature for the most accurate results.

Can I measure my ring size using an online guide?

While online guides and tutorials can provide general guidance, they may not be as accurate as using a physical ring sizer. We recommend using a reputable and reliable method for the most precise measurements.

What should I do if I ordered the wrong ring size?

If you accidentally ordered the wrong ring size, please reach out to our customer support team as soon as possible. We'll do our best to assist you with resizing options or exchange procedures, depending on our policies.
