This was a birthday gift for me from my wife this month. The moment she asked me what do you want for your birthday, I had to say that I want thie fine piece of art named Recoil. I can not take it off. It is soo cool. My daughter loves it too. She wrote me a secret message and put it inside, to be opened on her birthday later this year. I love it.

Looks heaps better than on the photo
The primary thing that drew my eye was the visual similarity to a "hogs tooth" trophy from the Vietnam war era. Then as a bonus it had a compartment I plan on putting some ashes from a campfire and a bit of dirt from home into. As a sailor having rings is a difficult and dangerous thing to do so while aboard the vessel I can put my rings on the chain. Great work, I look forward to being able to take home with me. Thank you.
