Some stories come to a definitive end — this one keeps evolving. Hermandad Drop 2 adds new pieces to the journey, forged from Iceland’s black sand and the grit of the American West, and blessed in Bali by the very hands that have crafted our sterling silver since day one.

Crafted With Spirit

When JJ Julius Son was asked about the inspiration, he didn’t overcomplicate it:

“My Nordic Icelandic background mixed with my love for old western style from North America after living there and touring for a decade now.”

That’s what this second chapter holds: runes worn deep into silver, black stones like Iceland’s beaches, turquoise cut like desert sky, and leather worked soft from the road.

The Blessing Ceremony

For the first time in our history, a collection was blessed before it left our Bali workshop. Our silversmiths — the same team that has been with us from the beginning — prepared the pieces using sacred prayer facilities.

The ceremony wasn’t for spectacle. It was quiet, intentional, and necessary. A way of asking that each piece of Hermandad would carry not just silver and stone, but protection, memory, and spirit.
