Designed in collaboration with Peter McKinnon, the Voyageur features a large turquoise stone reminiscent of a ring Peter bought the day he made the life changing decision to turn his passion for photography into a career. Years later, that same ring has accompanied him on photo shoots all over the globe. The Voyageur takes elements of Peter’s original ring and adds powerful, swooping birds to each side. This ring is a celebration of taking flight.

First, I love this ring, it's one of my favorites. But there are a few gripes I have with it, the stones setting to begin with. I returned not one, but two rings because the stone fell out. The third became loose after a week of wear. I gave up and will epoxy it back in when it falls out. Secondly, I questioned the authenticity of the turquoise. They told me it looks the way it does because it's stabilized, from my research, that means it's bonded with some other plastic/resin material to fill the voids, make it harder/durable, which also can lead to darkening of stone. Do I buy it? I do. This is a reputable company and an expensive (to me) piece. Why would they use fake turqouise as they have put out a lot of turqouise. Regardless, it's questionable in the back of my head sometimes. Other than that, it's hefty, cool, and I like it.

The ring is a piece of art. Unfortunately it wasn't attractive to my tastes when I put it on my finger but I repeat the piece with art is very pretty
