They were on their last pint of water. And perhaps more importantly, the rum was running dry. It had been nearly two weeks since they had been forced to walk the plank of the Black Fortune and washed ashore here — a nameless island somewhere off the horn of Africa. They had a lot of time on their hands. Which, of course, they spent planning their revenge.
